A convenient enantioselective total synthesis of (+)-cyclobutastellettolide B (I) via a strategy that involves a diastereoselective Johnson-Claisen rearrangement, a regioselective cyclopropoxytrimethylsilane ring-opening reaction, and a Norrish-Yang cyclization is described.
