In 2019,ChemPhysChem included an article by Urner, Leonhard H.; Schade, Boris; Schulze, Maiko; Folmert, Kristin; Haag, Rainer; Pagel, Kevin. Electric Literature of C4H7BrO2. The article was titled 《Switchable Solubility of Azobenzene-Based Bolaamphiphiles》. The information in the text is summarized as follows:

The ability to design amphiphiles with predictable solubility properties is of everlasting interest in supramol. chem. Relevant structural parameters include the hydrophobic-hydrophilic balance and structural flexibility. In this work, we investigate the water solubility of azobenzene-based triglycerol bolaamphiphiles (TGBAs). In particular, we analyzed the structural effects of backbone hydrophobicity, flexibility, and cis/trans isomerization on the water solubility of a subset of five TGBAs. This leads to the first example of a non-ionic bolaamphiphile whose water solubility can be changed by irradiation with light. The underlying kinetics were monitored using liquid chromatog. and a closer anal. of the underlying aggregation processes provides a mechanistic understanding of the light-driven dissolution process. We anticipate that the results obtained will help to engineer bolaamphiphiles with predictable solution properties in the future. Reference of 4-Bromobutanoic acid And the article was included in Pharmaceuticals in 2020. The article conveys some information:

Cancer accounts for one of the most complex diseases nowadays due to its multifactorial nature. Despite the vast number of cytotoxic agents developed so far, good therapeutic approaches are not always reached. In recent years, multitarget drugs are gaining great attention against multifactorial diseases in contraposition to polypharmacy. Herein we have accomplished the conjugation of phenolic derivatives with an ample number of organochalcogen motifs with the aim of developing novel antiproliferative agents. Their antioxidant, and antiproliferative properties (against six tumor and one non-tumor cell lines) were analyzed. Moreover, in order to predict P-gp-mediated chemoresistance, the P-glycoprotein assay was also conducted in order to determine whether compounds prepared herein could behave as substrates of that glycoprotein. Selenium derivatives were found to be significantly stronger antiproliferative agents than their sulfur isosters. Moreover, the length and the nature of the tether, together with the nature of the organoselenium scaffold were also found to be crucial features in the observed bioactivities. The lead compound, bearing a methylenedioxyphenyl moiety, and a diselenide functionality, showed a good activity (GI50 = 0.88-2.0μM) and selectivity towards tumor cell lines (selectivity index: 14-32); moreover, compounds considered herein were not substrates for the P-gp efflux pump, thus avoiding the development of chemoresistance coming from such mechanism, commonly found for widely-used chemotherapeutic agents. The results came from multiple reactions, including the reaction of 4-Bromobutanoic acid(cas: 2623-87-2Reference of 4-Bromobutanoic acid)

Synthetic Route of C4H7BrO2 And the article was included in Inorganic Chemistry in 2020. The article conveys some information:

By taking advantage of the efficient Forster resonance energy transfer (FRET) between near-IR (NIR)-responsive lanthanide-doped upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs) and Fenton reagent ferrocenyl compounds (Fc), a series of Fc-UCNPs was designed by functionalizing NaYF4:Yb,Tm nanoparticles with Fc1-Fc5via surface-coordination chem. Fc-UCNP-Lipo nanosystems were then constructed by encapsulating Fc-UCNP inside liposomes for efficient delivery. Fc-UCNP can effectively release ·OH via a NIR-promoted Fenton-like reaction. In vitro and in vivo studies of Fc1-UCNP-Lipo confirmed the preferential accumulation in a tumor site followed by an enhanced uptake of cancer cells. After cellular internalization, the released Fc1-UCNP can effectively promote ·OH generation for tumor growth suppression. Such a Fc1-UCNP-Lipo nanosystem exhibits advantages such as easy fabrication, low drug dosage, and no ferrous ion release. By integrating the advantages of NIR-responsive lanthanide-doped UCNPs, a ferrocenyl compound Fc that catalyzes intracellular H2O2 for ·OH generation in tumor sites, as well as good delivery capability of liposomes, Fc-UCNP-Lipo nanosystem was constructed to realize significant tumor growth suppression via a NIR-promoted Fenton-like reaction. A good overlap of absorption spectra of Fc and emission spectra of UCNP is essential for efficient FRET. This nanosystem exhibits merits of low dosage and sustained and on-demand cancer therapy. The article was titled 《Trifluoromethanesulfonyl azide as a bifunctional reagent for metal-free azidotrifluoromethylation of unactivated alkenes》.Computed Properties of C4H7BrO2 The article contains the following contents:

A simple and metal-free method that rapidly provides these building blocks, e.g., I from abundant alkenes RR1C=CR2R3 (R = 3-[(pyridin-3-yl)carbonyloxy]propyl, C8H17, CH2C6H5, etc.; R1 = H, Me, n-Pr; R2 = R3 = H, Me) and trifluoromethanesulfonyl azide (N3SO2CF3). This unprecedented two-component reaction employs readily available N3SO2CF3 as a bifunctional reagent to concurrently incorporate both CF3 and N3 groups, which avoids the use of their expensive and low atom economic precursors. A wide range of functional groups, including bio-relevant heterocycles and amino acids, was tolerated. Application of this method was further demonstrated by scale-up synthesis (5 mmol), product derivatization to CF3-containing medicinal chem. motifs, as well as late-stage modification of natural products, e.g., 5-(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)pyrrolidin-2-one and drug derivatives In addition to this study using 4-Bromobutanoic acid, there are many other studies that have used 4-Bromobutanoic acid(cas: 2623-87-2Computed Properties of C4H7BrO2) was used in this study.

《Carbamate as an accelerating group in intermolecular Pauson-Khand reaction》 was published in Tetrahedron Letters in 2020. These research results belong to Asano, Shota; Itto-Nakama, Kaori; Arimoto, Hirokazu. Category: bromides-buliding-blocks The article mentions the following:

The Pauson-Khand reaction (PKR) is a powerful means for the construction of cyclopentenones. However, its applications are limited to the intramol. version of this reaction because poor yield and regioselectivity are often the major problems in intermol. PKR. Herein, it was shown that a carbamate moiety in alkene substrate accelerates this intermol. PKR. The reaction of N-4-dimethylaminophenyl O-allyl carbamate with alkyne-cobalt complex gave cyclopentenones in high yields (up to 90%) and regioselectivity (>9:1). The author of 《Hydrophilic quaternary ammonium-group-containing [FeFe]H2ase models prepared by quaternization of the pyridyl N atoms in pyridylazadiphosphine- and pyridylmethylazadiphosphine-bridged diiron complexes with various electrophiles》 were Song, Li-Cheng; Feng, Li; Guo, Yuan-Qiang. And the article was published in Dalton Transactions in 2019. Recommanded Product: 4-Bromobutanoic acid The author mentioned the following in the article:

The first aromatic quaternary ammonium-group-containing [FeFe]H2ase models have been prepared by a simple and convenient two-step method in high yields. Thus, on the basis of preparation of the N-pyridylazadiphosphine-bridged diiron complex (μ-PDT)Fe2(CO)4[μ-3-(Ph2P)2NC5H4N] (A) by CO substitution of parent complex (μ-PDT)Fe2(CO)6 with N-pyridylazadiphosphine 3-(Ph2P)2NC5H4N in refluxing xylene, further quaternization of the pyridyl N atom in complex A with electrophile 1,3-propanesultone, 1,3,2-dioxathiolane-2,2-dioxide, or 4-bromobutyric acid in refluxing MeCN afforded the pyridyl quaternary ammonium-group-containing models (μ-PDT)Fe2(CO)4[μ-3-(Ph2P)2NC5H4NR] (1, R = (CH2)3SO3; 2, R = (CH2)2OSO3) and (μ-PDT)Fe2(CO)4[μ-3-(Ph2P)2NC5H4N(CH2)3CO2H]Br (3). Similarly, the N-pyridylmethylazadiphosphine-bridged diiron complex (μ-PDT)Fe2(CO)4[μ-3-(Ph2P)2NCH2C5H4N] (B) could be prepared by CO substitution of parent complex (μ-PDT)Fe2(CO)6 with N-pyridylmethylazadiphosphine 3-(Ph2P)2NCH2C5H4N in refluxing xylene, while further quaternization of the pyridylmethyl N atom in complex B with 1,3-propanesultone and 3-bromo-1-propanol in MeCN at reflux gave the pyridylmethyl quaternary ammonium-group-containing models (μ-PDT)Fe2(CO)4[μ-3-(Ph2P)2NCH2C5H4N(CH2)3SO3] (4) and (μ-PDT)Fe2(CO)4[μ-3-(Ph2P)2NCH2C5H4N(CH2)3OH]Br (5), resp. All new complexes A, B, and 1-5 were characterized by elemental anal. and various spectroscopies, while the mol. structures of complexes A, B, 2 and 5 were further confirmed by x-ray crystallog. The electrochem. study on hydrophilic models 1 and 3 in MeCN and the MeCN/H2O mixed solvent indicated that the reduction potentials were shifted to less-neg. potentials as the water content increased; such an observation implies that both 1 and 3 are easily reduced in the mixed MeCN/H2O solvent than in MeCN. In addition, the electrocatalytic study demonstrated that both 1 and 3 can serve as electrocatalysts for H2 production from acetic acid with higher icat/ip and TONs in MeCN/H2O than in MeCN. The title of the article was 《Discovery of linear unnatural peptides as potent mutant isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 inhibitors by Ugi reaction》.HPLC of Formula: 2623-87-2 The author mentioned the following in the article:

Isocitrate dehydrogenases 1 (IDH1) catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate to α-ketoglutaric acid (α-KG). It is the most frequently mutated metabolic gene in human cancer and its mutations interfere with cell metabolism and epigenetic regulation, thus promoting tumorigenesis. In order to discover potent new mutant IDH1 inhibitors, based on the structure of marketed inhibitor AG-120 (Ivosidenib), we designed, synthesized and evaluated a series of linear unnatural peptide analogs via Ugi reaction, as potential mutant IDH1 inhibitors. All these compounds were evaluated for their inhibition on mutant IDH1 enzyme activity. The structure-activity relationship was discussed on the basis of exptl. data, with an attempt to pave the way for future studies. Among them, 43 exhibited potent and selective enzyme inhibitory activity, and showed strong binding affinity with mutant IDH1. It can decrease the cellular concentration of 2-HG, and suppress the proliferation of HT1080 and IDH1 mutant-U-87 cells by selectively inhibiting the activity of mutant IDH1. The article was titled 《Chiral plasmonic liquid crystal gold nanoparticles: self-assembly into a circular dichroism responsive helical lamellar superstructure》.Application In Synthesis of 4-Bromobutanoic acid The article contains the following contents:

Owing to their proven and promising potential in various technol. endeavors ranging from catalysis and sensing to invisibility cloaks made from metamaterials, chiral plasmonic superstructures resulting from the directed self-assembly of optically active metal nanoparticles (MNPs) have been pursued intensively in recent years. Several strategic efforts have emerged especially to accomplish advanced nanomaterials assembling into liquid crystalline (LC) helical structures, where MNPs are regularly packed in fluid/frozen arrays/layers or wires (columns). While the helical fluid columnar arrays (mol. wires) showing CD (CD) have been realized, the discovery of fluid chiral lamellar ordering, where the dielec. and conducting regimes are arranged alternatively, has hitherto remained highly elusive. Herein we report the first examples of monodisperse LC-gold NPs (LC-GNPs) self-assembling into a fluid/frozen lamellar structure exhibiting CD activity. Notably, these new, exceptional LC-GNPs have been realized by simple, hassle-free protocols that involve the room temperature addition of LC dimer-like arylamines to Au(III), where the amines not only reduce Au(III) to Au(0) but also bind strongly to the central GNP scaffold. Their mol. structure, mesomorphism, and ability to interact with circularly polarized light have been evidenced unambiguously and could play an important role in realizing metamaterials in the visible region. And the article was published in Carbohydrate Polymers in 2019. Category: bromides-buliding-blocks The author mentioned the following in the article:

Hyaluronan (HA) is among the most used biopolymers for viscosupplementation and dermocosmetics. However, the current injectable HA-based formulations present relevant limitations: (I) unmodified HA is quickly degraded by endogenous hyaluronidases (HAase), resulting in short lasting properties; (II) crosslinked HA, although shows enhanced stability against HAase, often contains toxic chem. crosslinkers. As such, herein, we present biocompatible self-assembled hyaluronan-cholesterol nanohydrogels (HA-CH NHs) able to bind to HAase and inhibit the enzyme activity in vitro, more efficiently than currently marketed HA-based crosslinked formulations (e.g. Jonexa). HA-CH NHs inhibit HAase through a mixed mechanism, by which NHs bind to HAase with an affinity constant 7-fold higher than that of native HA. Similar NHs, based on gellan-CH, evidenced no binding to HAase, neither inhibition of the enzyme activity, suggesting this effect might be due to the specific binding of HA-CH to the active site of the enzyme. Therefore, HA-CH NHs were engineered into injectable hybrid HA mixtures or phys. hydrogels, able to halt the enzymic degradation of HA. The article was titled 《Mitochondria-specific drug release and reactive oxygen species burst induced by polyprodrug nanoreactors can enhance chemotherapy》. The information in the text is summarized as follows:

Cancer cells exhibit slightly elevated levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS) compared with normal cells, and approx. 90% of intracellular ROS is produced in mitochondria. In situ mitochondrial ROS amplification is a promising strategy to enhance cancer therapy. Here we report cancer cell and mitochondria dual-targeting polyprodrug nanoreactors (DT-PNs) covalently tethered with a high content of repeating camptothecin (CPT) units, which release initial free CPT in the presence of endogenous mitochondrial ROS (mtROS). The in situ released CPT acts as a cellular respiration inhibitor, inducing mtROS upregulation, thus achieving subsequent self-circulation of CPT release and mtROS burst. This mtROS amplification endows long-term high oxidative stress to induce cancer cell apoptosis. This current strategy of endogenously activated mtROS amplification for enhanced chemodynamic therapy overcomes the short lifespan and action range of ROS, avoids the penetration limitation of exogenous light in photodynamic therapy, and is promising for theranostics.
