Regarding the green chem. goals, well-organized processes for catalyst separation and reuse have drawn much attention in the past few decades. The strategy of magnetic separation offers a convenient approach for recycling catalysts by applying an appropriate magnetic field. In this paper, a palladium nanoparticle-based Catalyst that is stabilized on the glutathione and aspartic acid-functionalized superparamagnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles has been prepared by an eco-friendly, economical and effective procedure. The catalytic performance of these novels, highly active and recoverable catalysts was investigated under low loading of the supported palladium nanoparticles for Heck and Suzuki reactions. Under optimal reaction conditions, the nanocomposites afford the corresponding products in excellent yield. The catalysts could be easily separated from the reaction system and efficiently recycled for four consecutive runs without a remarkable loss of their activity. The structural and magnetic properties of the catalysts were identified by Fourier transform IR (FT-IR), Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), SEM (SEM), vibration sample magnetometer (VSM), inductively coupled plasma at. emission anal. (ICP-AES) and thermogravimetric anal. (TGA).

Herein, we presented the design and synthesis of a new CMP based on a boranil dye which was exploited as an efficient heterogeneous photocatalyst. It exhibited superior photocatalytic performance toward aerobic oxidation of amines and sulfides compared with that of the boranil-free counterpart and featured wide visible-light absorption, a narrow optical bandgap, and more planar π-conjugation due to boron complexation. The present study establishes boranil dyes as efficient building blocks for fabricating new photocatalysts.

The Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling between polyfluorinated arylboron nucleophiles and aryl halides enables the efficient construction of polyfluorinated structural motifs frequently found in organic materials and catalysts. A key challenge associated with this transformation involves the slow transmetalation with weakly nucleophilic polyfluorinated organoboron reagents, which often reduces the yield of the coupling products. Here, authors show that solid-state high-temperature ball-milling conditions facilitate a palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling with polyfluorinated arylboronic acids and pinacol esters employing a simple catalytic system in the absence of any stoichiometric additives. This reaction exhibits a broad substrate scope and can be carried out in air, and the use of large amounts of dry and degassed organic solvents is not required. The successful cross-coupling of weakly nucleophilic polyfluorinated organoboron reagents was ascribed to the extremely high concentrations of the substrates and the catalyst under solid-state conditions.

A suitable needle- shaped crystal of dimesityl ditelluride was developed by evaporation of a solution in chloroform. The Te compound was developed with the orthorhombic space group Iba2 with a = 15.2916(7) Å, b = 15.7225(7) Å, c = 14.5272(7) Å and α, β,γ = 90°. The geometry about the central tellurium atoms adopt a bent-shaped geometry with torsion angle C10-Te2-Te1- C1 = 87.0(3)° and this may be considered a cisoid conformation. Intermol. C-H…·Te interactions give rise to a two-dimensional supramol. synthons in its crystalline state. The crystal packing diagram shows Te….H [Te1…·H5A, 3.2557(5) Å & Te1…·H8C, 3.2578(5) Å] hydrogen-bonding interactions which are responsible for associative forces.
