The combined organic extracts were washed with sat. brine (50 mL), dried (Na2SO4), filtered and evaporated. The crude product was purified by flash silica gel chromatography (eluent: gradient 20 to 50% EtOAc in heptane). Pure fractions were evaporated to dryness to afford the title compound 17 (376 mg, 72%) as a beige solid
