The organic layer was washed with aqueous 2N HCl, aqueous NaHCO3, brine, dried with Na2SO4, filtered and the solvent evaporated in vacuo to yield a crude oil. The crude oil was purified via flash chromatography (30percent ethyl acetate/hexanes) to yield the title compound as a solid. 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) delta 8.16 (1H, d, J=8.2 Hz), 7.82 (1H, bs), 7.23-7.18 (1H, m), 7.02-6.99 (1H, m), 4.19-4.11 (2H, m), 2.86-2.78 (2H, m), 2.51-2.44 (1H, m), 2.42 (3H, s), 2.04-1.96 (2H, m), 1.78-1.69 (2H, m), 1.47 (9H, s) MS (ES+) m/z 419.0 (M+H)+
